How JONDO UK is pushing forward in sustainability
We believe everyone must play a part in preserving our world and its resources. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, minimising waste, and ensuring responsible sourcing in all our operations.
We are actively reducing our carbon footprint through several key initiatives. These include transitioning to electric vehicles, harnessing solar energy, and adhering to the ISO14001:2015 certified Environmental Management System.
We use FSC-certified paper and sustainable HP inks, ensuring our signage solutions meet the highest quality standards while respecting the planet. Our efforts reflect a solid commitment to environmental responsibility, focusing on measurable impacts such as CO2 reduction and resource efficiency.

These initiatives in our offices and working environments highlight our deep commitment to environmental responsibility. Through these efforts, we have achieved significant results, showcasing our ongoing dedication to sustainability.
HP PARTNERSHIP
We’ve partnered with HP due to their strong commitment to sustainability. We use HP Latex Inks, which are 70% water-based, offering significant health and environmental benefits over solvent-based inks.
These inks rest on the media surface, enhancing recyclability and biodegradability, and are free from heavy metals, nickel, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

GREENGUARD GOLD ensuring low chemical emissions for better indoor air quality.
Additionally, our partnership with HP includes the HP Planet Recycle program, ensuring responsible disposal of printheads and ink cartridges. This collaboration allows us to offer high quality, environmentally responsible products, supporting a healthier planet and safer working conditions.
In addition to our sustainable actions in our working
environment, JONDO UK now have a partnership with Ecologi.
Since partnering with Ecologi we have played our part in contributing to great things & helped plant over 8,500 trees and avoid over 8T of CO2e.
SOLAR POWER
As of June 2023, a significant portion of our power consumption at JONDO UK is met through self-generated solar energy.
The JONDO UK has harnessed the full potential of the warehouse roofs by installing solar panels. This investment in solar power reduces our reliance on traditional power grids, thereby reducing our carbon footprint.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES
In June 2023, over 50% of our company vehicles at JONDO UK have been transitioned to fully electric vehicles.
We are continuously working towards replacing additional vehicles with electric alternatives in the coming months, as part of our ongoing efforts to reduce emissions and promote cleaner mobility options.
OFFICES & WAREHOUSE
In line with our sustainability goals, Sandhurst Autoprint has installed energy-efficient LED lighting with automated motion sensors in our offices and warehouses.
This technology activates lights only when rooms are in use, reducing energy waste and contributing to our aim of achieving NET ZERO by 2050. Overseen by our Sustainability Officer, this upgrade is part of our ISO14001:2015 certified Environmental Management System
COMPANY GARDENS
We are proud to announce that JONDO UK have onsite allotments growing a variety of fruits and vegetables and also creating a delightful sanctuary for local wildlife.
Additionally, these green spaces provide a tranquil environment for our staff, promoting mental well-being and offering a peaceful retreat during their workday.
REDUCE
All paper that we use is EU Ecolabel (PT/011/002) which is 100% recyclable supplied from responsible sources (FSCC008924)
All cardboard packaging that we use is fully recyclable and usage of packing materials is kept to an absolute minimum
REUSE
Where possible we now re-use packaging from our own suppliers.
This may mean as a customer you may notice a difference in appearance but be reassured it is a step towards our sustainability goals and your products and deliveries will still be securely packaged.
RECYCLE
Recycling within the warehouses has been in place for some time but now Recycling is encouraged within office spaces in addition to the warehouse recycling facilities.
